Melbourne-based Thermal Mass were formed in 2013. At their Doom in the old-school Metal vein of Sabbath and Pentagram, the band also incorporate elements of Stoner/Sludge and other broader Metal genres.
CD comprises a core of eight tracks recorded back in 2015, plus three bonuses: one newer (2017) and a couple older (2013), all three sets recorded with somewhat different line-ups.
Should appeal to anyone who appreciates early Doom and proto-Doom!

The debut full-length album by Australian Avant-garde Black Metal band.
ThrOes is Dissident Metal from Tasmania and the brainchild of Trent Griggs. ThrOes began life in 2003, and exist outside stylistic influence or trend (every imaginable mental, physical and financial obstacle had to be overcome). Thirteen long bleak years ensued that saw Griggs eternally at war with the energy involved in creating the material. He worked in solitude during this period. Great patience and execution of will was necessary to let the material evolve organically, and independently of any outside stylistic influence or trend. Every imaginable mental, physical and financial obstacle had to be overcome. And their debut album finally was released, featuring guest appearing by Trent Griggs, James Ludbrook (Damaged), Kevin Talley (Suffocation, ex-Misery Index, ex-Six Feet Under, ex-Dying Fetus), Mark Evans (Alarum), and David Caswell (WDD).
ThrOes shows off good qualities, in particular in the varied rhythms ranging from slowdowns, accelerations and sometimes unconventional time signatures; it is mainly the bass that places itself as the beating heart of the tracks, supporting the undoubted skills of Kevin Talley that adapts effortlessly to every stylistic variations. Acoustic guitars and keyboard inserts are embellishments that make their appearence only in rare occasions, perhaps they deserved more space in a work that doesn't manag to be always entertaining.
Ultimately, "This Viper Womb" could be appreciated by those, who are looking for an artist with his own personality. This is not like any Metal album you have heard before. This album will ruthlessly infect all utterly. This is Dissident Metal!!

Thy Gate Beyond tread the stages back in 2001 and finally their 80s Thrash/Speed lands in SG Records with this new album, that offers a sound clearly influenced by the American Metal scene as well as the German one.

The secondre-release of the third full-length studio album by legendary Swedish Atmospheric Death/Doom Metal band.
"Clouds" was another major step in the quick sonic evolution of Tiamat, as the band continued to scale back their Death Metal roots while pursuing more conventional song structures. The album is still predominately fixated in the Death/Doom Metal genre.
Instrumentally, “Clouds” combine delicate acoustic guitars with crushing riffs and atmospheric keyboards. Johan Edlund's voice mixes death growls with a clean, Gothic moaning-type voice. Songwriting contributions from new bassist Johnny Hagel take some of the load off vocalist Johan Edlund, whose improving English-speaking skills and raspy but clear intonations finally let listeners appreciate his esoteric lyrics.
Every song on "Clouds" is distinct in its own way, but it doesn't get much better than "In a Dream" and "The Sleeping Beauty", both of which combine delicate acoustic guitars with crushing riffs and atmospheric keyboards. These same elements are mixed and matched in surprising fashion on "Smell of Incense", "The Scapegoat", and "Forever Burning Flames". The epic "Undressed" closes the album with similar inventiveness and points toward the future.
"Clouds" was only the first step for Tiamat into Gothic Metal/Rock. The band is best remembered for the "Clouds" and "Wildhoney" albums, which are more widespread and Psychedelic/Progressive influenced. "Clouds" would be the last album where the Death Metal grasp was strong, and it’s a telling sign of what the band would discover in themselves two years later. For stepping away from pure Death/Black Metal and laying the groundwork for "Wildhoney", "Clouds" is a historically important record that helped to shape the booming Doom Death Metal scene of decade.

Not necessarily a concept album in the lyrical sense, the record still operates as a virtually seamless aural experience, as tracks are often grouped into extended suites.
The album was produced by Waldemar Sorychta and released by Century Media records in 1994. Vocalist Johan Edlund and John Hagel were the only two remaining members of Tiamat. After the release of their 1994 tour mini-album, "The Sleeping Beauty: Live in Israel", Edlund fired all members of Tiamat except for John Hagel. In 1994, Tiamat began working on"Wildhoney" album with session musicians Magnus Sahlgren, Lars Sköld and Waldemar Sorychta, who acted as a keyboardist and producer.
The album was one of the highest-selling records for Century Media on its release. It sold better than the previous bestsellers of the label, Grave and Unleashed.
One of the classics of the genre, “Wildhoney” is an album ahead of its time, and many bands that are commercially successful drank for it until the point of exhaustion. “Wildhoney” represented the end of an age for Tiamat, and a great number of the band’s fans think that it’s their finest moment, because the following releases didn’t present the same strength and Avant-garde courage.  Hear it, buy it, because “Wildhoney” is really a classic in the deeper essence of the word!

The seventh full-length studio album by legendary American Pop Rock/Soul singer.
It was Turner's third album release after her massively successful comeback five years earlier with "Private Dancer" and her third and last album with the label.  Dan Hartman produced most of the tracks on the album, including the hit single "The Best", which has gone on to become one of Turner's signature songs. The album features collaborations with prominent musicians, including saxophone solos by Gary Barnacle on at least three tracks and guitar work by Dire Straits' frontman Mark Knopfler, who co-wrote Turner's hit "Private Dancer", on the title track.
Although the album was not a major success in Turner's native United States, it was a huge international hit, especially in Europe. The album sold over six million copies worldwide. In the UK alone, it sold over 1.5 million copies, entering the UK Albums Chart at number one (Turner's first album to do so there) and staying in the Top 100 for a year and a half. The album also reached number one in numerous other countries, including Germany and Sweden, and topped the overall European Chart for four weeks.

The debut full-length studio album by legendary American Funk/Soul singer.
Released while Turner was still a member of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, the album was an attempt by her husband, Ike Turner, to expose her to a wider audience. Although the album did not chart, it earned Turner a nomination in the "Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female" category at the 17th Annual Grammy Awards.
Fine mix of Country, Folky and Soft Rock tunes done in Tina's inimitable style. On this effort, she flexes her voice from its softest to its usual rough tone and moulds it perfectly around each cut. Drawing from a wide range of composers from Dylan to Dolly Parton to Kris Kristofferson to Hank Snow, ms. Turner should gain easy Soul and Pop play and possibly some Country play. Surprisingly effective are the slow cuts, and Tina proves just as adept an interpreter of other's material as she is a singer of original songs.

The seventh full-length studio album by cult Czech Death Metal band.
Two years after their last creation, Czech Death Metal icon is back with the "Beneath". Tortharry is active on the Czech Metal scene since 1991, when the band transformed itself from its initial formation named Executor, and began its Death Metal crusade with its first demo "Mezi Nebem A Peklem" ("Between Heaven And Hell"). Over the years, Tortharry amassed an extensive discography and contribute to various Metal compilations, including “Tribute To Death”. The band also have an impressive list of live shows, with symbolic peaks being twin concerts in 1998 in the Czech Republic as a support of the genre icon Death, and a South American tour with Gorgoroth and Belphegor in September 2007.
Sharp guitar riffs, unearthly fast drums and the right Death growl build in the space of nine tracks a monumental acoustic “wall of
death”, which then underscores the dreary, even nihilistic, lyrics of individual songs; a parable of motifs, which are not, or should not be, obvious at the first glance. Hidden thoughts, desires, guilt or crimes, plainly all which is concealed beneath the surface of the apparent, are the thematic cornerstone of this album, as its name itself hints. In short: “I want to bite you until you bleed!”
The release includes Bonus Track “Krvavá Práce”, a cover version of the song by a Czech Metal legend, Debustrol, which is not available on the CD version of the album.

Tortharry are one of the longest running Czech Metal bands, founded back 1991, and almost iconic stalwarts of the Czech Death Metal scene. Their popularity in this country and abroad is based on their clearly defined style, their way above average musicianship, and on their undying enthusiasm for gigging and songwriting. 
They played a lot of live shows on the worldwide festivals and club stages and tours a lot, including gigs with the phenomenal cult band Death, the Brazilian icon Sepultura, as well as a South American tour with Gorgoroth and Belphegor.
Five years since the release of the “Follow” album, during band's 25th anniversary, one of the leading Brutal Death Metal bands from the Czech Republic reaching another milestone and opening a new chapter of its history.
Though Tortharry have now sufficient reputation to allow for experiments in their music, the band stays true to their long-term genre direction, whereby the new album once again offers a motherload of Technical Death Metal.

The fourth re-release of the fourth full-length studio album by legendary German Heavy Metal band.
The perfect mix of Speed Metal and old school Heavy Metal. There is power and speed but there is also enough of the classic sound of traditional Metal to keep this one close to the hearts of fans of Judas Priest and Black Sabbath.
It was recorded and mixed at Dierks Studios, Cologne from November 1990 to February 1991. Album was released in April 03, 1991.
The band's most brutal album, following a light approach on “Faceless World”, it's U.D.O.'s last release before Udo Dirkschneider took part in the Accept reunion which resulted in three albums.
The perfect mix of Speed Metal and old-school Heavy Metal. There is power and speed, but there is also enough of the classic sound of traditional Metal to keep this one close to the hearts of Judas Priest and Black Sabbath fans.
The band were aided by Deaffy on lyrics. Deaffy has also appeared as author of the English lyrics on the Accept albums, and has been revealed to be a pseudonym for Gaby Hoffmann (maiden name Hauke), manager for Accept and later married to guitarist Wolf Hoffmann.
"Timebomb" is the real deal, and recommend being playing loud and often!

The third full-length album by Brazilian Thrash/Groove Metal band.
Attention! Uganga’s frontman is Sarcofago’s Manu Joker!!
...From the beginning - this album is weird. We’ve got a lot of different elements, but basically Uganga tries to be more or less near Thrash Metal. Except for a typical Metal patents we’ve got a bit DJ scratches and…. a Reggae part in the middle of the song. All these non-Metal influences are small parts of the songs, little samples etc. - core of the band is heavy music. This is a really good album, and even with all that strange elements it goes together really well...
Joker goes really well behind the microphone but band’s strongest point are riffs. Most of them shows medium-speed Thrash Metal, sometimes we can hear something more Groovy, sometimes it’s time for Punk-influenced riff. And of course - their music is really surprising, Uganga is not afraid to experiment in different directions. Sometimes they put things, that in theory shouldn’t fit a Metal music even a bit, but final effect is nice! Although, that’s a “love it or hate it” album. So better listen to it by yourself!!
