Re-edition of the first live DVD, originally released as “UB40 At Rockpalast” (2004), by legendary British Reggae/Pop band.
UB40 came to prominence in 1980, when they were invited to support The Pretenders on tour. Their first Single, "Food For Thought", charted at No.4 in the UK and set the precedent for a whole slew of radio-friendly hits.
Followed hot on the heels of the release of their second album "Present Arms", filmed at the Sartory-Sale, Cologne in July 19, 1981 for German TV series Rockpalast, this concert showcases material from the band's first two albums. The set list is drawn almost exclusively from those two albums and includes all their early hits.
"Food For Thought" is the well-titled reminder of just how powerful UB40 were at the outset, an 81-minute digest of their first two albums, presented with the electricity sparking and the boiler in overload.
