Smashed Ruins is a two man's Black Metal project from Germany with a goal: create atmosphere without distracting vocals and thus add a new dimension to the musical scene. Those who expect endless guitar licks and loads of melodic passages will be disappointed by SILENCE. Seven songs without vocals (apart from some screams) that actually create some sort of dark atmosphere.
At the end of the day this record is more or less an atmospheric Black Metal record that spares us the vocals. Anyhow, you should check those guys out.
