There were and are many Modern Talking compilations, but here Sony Music has put together a strong 3CD box in cooperation with fans and collectors from home and abroad. No fewer than 15 versions that never been on an official Modern Talking CD, and was released on vinyl LP or Single abroad only!
The 16-page booklet includes some original Maxi-Singles covers, as well as great photos by Dieter and Thomas from the good old Modern Talking times of 1984-2003.
The whole thing very nicely packed and quite valuable, the folding Digipack is available in a gold look. The home CD shelf is looking forward to that!

Also, there is a Christmas song "It’s Christmas", recorded with a large children's choir. The album closes with a short a cappella reprise of the song "In 100 Years".
Due to lack of a promotional campaign in support of the album, it failed to match the commercial success of the duo's previous releases. The tension in the relationship between Bohlen and Anders was so serious that there could be no talk of any joint performances at that moment. In addition, even before the release of the album, Dieter Bohlen presented to the public his new solo project Blue System and the Single "Sorry Little Sarah", with which Bohlen reached #13th in the charts. Another reason for the commercial failure of album was the scandalous reputation of Modern Talking and Thomas Anders in Germany.
The album's only Single, "In 100 Years...", charted at number 30 in Germany. "Locomotion Tango" was released as a Single in the Scandinavian countries in 1988.

The last album before duo's first official separation, in fact released after their split-up in 1987 (Modern Talking reunited in 1998 and released the comeback album "Back For Good").
The musical stuff of the album was different from the previous works of the duo. It raises themes of war and violence ("In 100 Years", "Who Will Save The World"). Also, there is a Christmas song "It’s Christmas", recorded with a large children's choir. The album closes with a short a cappella reprise of the song "In 100 Years".
Due to lack of a promotional campaign in support of the album, it failed to match the commercial success of the duo's previous releases. The tension in the relationship between Bohlen and Anders was so serious that there could be no talk of any joint performances at that moment. In addition, even before the release of the album, Dieter Bohlen presented to the public his new solo project Blue System and the Single "Sorry Little Sarah", with which Bohlen reached #13th in the charts. Another reason for the commercial failure of album was the scandalous reputation of Modern Talking and Thomas Anders in Germany.
The album's only Single, "In 100 Years...", charted at number 30 in Germany. "Locomotion Tango" was released as a Single in the Scandinavian countries in 1988.

The reunion of Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen as Modern Talking resulted in a different sound compared to their original 1980s sound. The duo came back, recording their materials based on the demand of the central European markets. The Singles, including "You're My Heart, You're My Soul '98", consisted of up-tempo beats as well as raps performed by Eric Singleton. Most of Modern Talking's materials could no longer be viewed as Euro-Pop, instead they were pure Electronic music numbers with an exception to some of the tracks on "Back For Good", including the re-packaged versions of "Lady Lai" and "Give Me Peace on Earth", and the new ballads "I Will Follow You" and "Don't Play with My Heart".
"Back For Good" debuted atop the German Albums Chart on 13 April 1998 and spent a total of five weeks at the top. It was eventually certified five-times Gold by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI), denoting shipments in excess of 1.25 million units in Germany. The album was also successful outside of Germany, topping the charts in Austria, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
