Thanks to the success of their debut album, "Without You", the name of Olga Romanova was widely known among fans of the Russian Gothic Rock and Metal. And, unlike most such bands, music of Dark Princess stands out for its clearly marked and well-played tunes guitars.
The female vocals are quite lower and more dramatic than what is usually heard in cliché Gothic Metal, and quite good. While she's not extraordinary, she can sing. And the music is quite guitar-oriented. The album starts off with a heavy riff, and every song has a solo. Although there are two ballads, the album generally has a good Rocking sound.
If you're ready for some radio-friendly and easy on the ear, entertaining but not too complicated - check it out!

The band has a few similarities to Leaves’ Eyes, but without the Popish vocals. Anyway, the ten tracks presented here each have their own unique charm.
Olga Romanova has a very distinguished voice that separates from many of the other Gothic vocalists. She has the rare ability to get a high voice without sounding annoying.
Techno elements accompany the band in a great way. A great chorus and a solid beat also we can hear here. The guitars are solid.
Album has some great fast paced songs as well as some slow ballads, a usual mix for Gothic Metal bands. If you’re not afraid of some slower songs in your mix of Metal, pick this one up!!
