The second full-length album by Italian Thrash Metal band.
Brain Dead is one of the top Thrash Metal acts in Italy. Their debut got a great acceptance from the audience and amazing reviews in Metal magazines. Inspired by the Bay Area Thrash Metal sound of the 80s, Brain Dead tried to personalize and create their own sound. Exactly because of the old school Thrash influence, the band chose its name, Brain Dead, to pay tribute to Exodus.
Brian Dead has captured the high energy and excitement that came with the whole Thrash Metal movement back then. Band could have emerged out of the Bay Area along with greats like Exodus, Slayer, Testament, Megadeth and Metallica if they were around back then. The cool thing is they have that killer Thrash sound, but they also add in some flavoring of European Thrash Metal that was also coming
out back then like Destruction, Kreator, Sodom, Tankard and Onslaught.
There is some extremely fast paced riffing and all out grooving in the guitars with some crunchy breakdowns and riffs. The vocals are done in a mid ranged groggy and gritty Thrash Metal vocal style that reminded Overkill meets Destruction with touches of Kreator thrown in.
Brain Dead is band that any of other Thrash bands would be proud to have play beside them. Amazing old school Thrash Metal for fans of: Exodus, Annihilator, Testament and Slayer!!
