The fourth full-length album by the legendary American Hard Rock/Soft Metal band.
Bon Jovi had perfected a formula for Hard Pop/Rock by the time of "New Jersey", concentrating on sing-along choruses sung over and over again, frequently by a rough, extensively overdubbed chorus, producing an effect not unlike what these songs sounded like in the arenas and stadiums where they were most often heard. The lyrics had that typical Pop twist - although they nominally expressed romantic commitment, sentiments such as "Lay Your Hands on Me" and "I'll Be There for You" worked equally well as a means for the band and its audience to reaffirm their affection for each other. The only thing that marred the perfection of this communion was Jon Bon Jovi's continuing obsession with a certain predecessor from his home state; at times, he seemed to be trying to re-create Born to Run using cheaper materials.
The album was the follow-up to the band's 1986 breakthrough album, "Slippery When Wet", and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in its second week of release after making its debut at No. 8. It remained at No. 1 for four consecutive weeks. It produced five Billboard Hot 100 top ten singles, the most top ten hits to date for any Hard Rock album, including "Bad Medicine" and "I'll Be There for You", which both reached No. 1. The album was certified seven times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album also debuted at No. 1 in UK and was the band's first UK No. 1 album. "New Jersey" was released by the Soviet state-owned record company Melodiya, being the first American album ever released in USSR.

The fourteenth full-length studio album by legendary American Melodic Rock/Hard Rock band.
Band's first studio album with Phil X on lead guitar, who replaced longtime member Richie Sambora in 2013. It's also the first album where bassist Hugh McDonald officially replaces original bassist Alec John Such, who left the band in 1994.
Musically, this is a throwback - not to the '80s, but to 2005's "Have A Nice Day", which is the first album Bon Jovi recorded with producer John Shanks. Often, "This House Is Not for Sale", which is the sixth album Shanks has recorded with Bon Jovi, recalls the exuberant singalongs from "Have A Nice Day" ("God Bless This Mess" is a kissing cousin to "Who Says You Can't Go Home"), but where that 2005 album felt joyful, this 2016 album is driven in part by spite. Thirty years into his career and Jon Bon Jovi still acts like the underdog, and he still sings like he has scores to settle. Presumably, some of these outstanding debts may be with Sambora, who did not leave on good terms, but Jon Bon Jovi is determined that "This isn't how the story ends, my friends, it's just a fork along the road," which goes a long way toward explaining how muscular "This House Is Not for Sale" is. Bon Jovi and Shanks may not have done much to freshen up the band's sound, but that simmering defiance does mean this is the band's liveliest album in years!
Music videos were released for every track of the standard album version.
It is Bon Jovi's sixth US number-one album and it also became their fourth album in a row to hit No. 1 in the US after What About Now, The Circle and Lost Highway. "This House Is Not for Sale" debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 129000 album-equivalent units, of which 128000 were pure album sales. In the United Kingdom, the album debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart, selling 21448 units in its first week. As of January 2017, the album had sold 174000 copies in the United States. As of March 2018, the album has sold 326000 pure copies in the US.

"Have A Nice Day" ranked number one in its debut, in 15 countries. The album also ranked No.2 in both the US and UK. In the US, it sold over 202,000 copies in the first week, making it Bon Jovi's best first-week sales in the band's history at that time. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Bon Jovi's sophomore release found the New Jersey band continuing with its engaging mix of Hard Rock dynamics and blatant Pop-Metal overtones, and primed the pump for the coming popular explosion of "Slippery When Wet". Ever since the keyboard call to arms of the breakthrough "Runaway", Bon Jovi had understood that real success lay in a billowing smoke, soft-focus derivation of true Metal, where Journey-style synthesizers and Soft Rock chorus vocals were the name of the game. To that end, "7800° Fahrenheit" tempered its black-leather Rock & Roll with a rudimentary form of the sound that would make Bon Jovi superstars. They puffed out their chests for the groupie-groping, Mötley Crüe-style catcalls of "In and Out of Love" and made sure "King of the Mountain" rumbled with boys-night-out bravado. But they seemed much more comfortable with the twittering ballad "Silent Night" or "Price of Love," where arena-ready riffing met smoke machine keys and vocal trills. There was even "Tokyo Road", a valiant attempt at the epic scope of Springsteen that featured a Japanese-language intro and full-on character development. It was in these moments - when the tenets of Metal tried on the hairstyles of Pop - that "7800° Fahrenheit" burned its brightest; the professional songwriting and increased cash flow of "Slippery When Wet" just made the existing mercury burst.
The album's title was a reference to the supposed melting point of rock. It's marked the final collaboration between Bon Jovi and producer Lance Quinn. It is also the only Bon Jovi album to feature songwriting contributions from four of the band members, with "Secret Dreams" being the only Bon Jovi song to-date for which drummer Tico Torres receives a songwriting credit. Despite being a fan favorite, the band was unsatisfied with the sound of the album and essentially disowned it once they had solidified their status as Major Rock Stars with the albums "Slippery When Wet" and "New Jersey" a few years later. It is the least represented album in their setlists over the course of the career and excluding extremely rare performances of the song "Tokyo Road" in Japan once every few years and "Only Lonely" a few times during The Circle Tour in 2010, nothing from this album has been performed live since the late 1980s.
"7800° Fahrenheit" reached #37 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was the band's first record to be certified Gold in the US. It remained charted for 85 weeks and was certified Platinum on February 19, 1987. The singles "In and Out of Love" and "Only Lonely" both charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

Second remastered re-release of the debut full-length album by legendary American Hard Rock/Soft Metal band.
From the opening track, "Runaway", which rode to glory on E Street Band-mate Roy Bittan's distinctive keyboard riff, to the sweaty arena rock of "Get Ready", which closed the album, Bon Jovi's debut is an often-overlooked minor gem from the early days of Hair Metal. The songs may be simple and the writing prone to all clichés of the form, but the album boasts a pretty consistent Hard Rock attack, passionate playing and a keen sense of melody. The prominence that keyboardist David Bryan (credited as David Rashbaum in the liner notes) gets on this record is an indicator, perhaps, that Bon Jovi had more than a passing interest in the Pop market, which was then dominated by new wave and Synth Pop. Mixing Journey-like '70s Rock ("She Don't Know Me") with shout-along stadium anthems ("Love Lies"), the self-titled Bon Jovi album lay the foundation for the band's career, which reached its apex several years later with that very same combination of Pop melody and arena-sized ambition.
Originally titled "Tough Talk", album was renamed after the record company decided it was wiser to issue the album as a self-titled release. Most of the songs are written by Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan and Sambora. "Burning for Love" and "Come Back" were the very first songs written for the album. Produced by Tony Bongiovi and Lance Quinn, it is significant for being the only Bon Jovi album on which a song ("She Don't Know Me") appears that was not written nor co-written by members of the band.
Aside from hit single "Runaway", songs from the album were rarely performed live after the band released their breakthrough album "Slippery When Wet" in 1986. However, on the band's 2010 Circle Tour, songs including "Roulette", "Shot Through The Heart" and "Get Ready" were performed.
The album was ranked the 11th best Rock album of 1984 by Kerrang! magazine.
The album charted at #43 on The Billboard 200.
Three singles from the album were released: "Runaway", "She Don't Know Me" and in Japan only, "Burning for Love".

Special Edition release of the eighth full-length album by the legendary American Melodic Hard Rock band.
“Bounce” was heavily influenced by the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, owing in part to Jon Bon Jovi's proximity to New York. The title "Bounce" was a reference to New York City's and the United States' ability to bounce back from the World Trade Center attacks as a nation.
Given that Bon Jovi successfully pulled off a comeback in 2000 with "Crush", a shiny Pop album pitched directly at the mainstream, it's kind of a surprise that they returned two years later with a record as turgid as "Bounce". Instead of continuing the colorful blueprint of "Crush", they fearlessly backpedal, turning out dull, heavy, serious rock - the kind of music that sounds "serious" even when it's about trivial things. Of course, much of the record is given over to "serious" topics, as if the band felt that the events of 2001 necessitated a grave response for "Bounce", regardless of what they were singing. Such sobriety would not have been a problem if the band had solid material, but they're not only lacking songs, they've inexplicably altered their musical approach. In particular, guitarist Richie Sambora sounds as if he's aping James Hetfield's lumbering downstrokes throughout the album, giving the record an oppressively heavy sound that never lets the music breathe. This casts a pall over the record, but this stumble is not the sole reason "Bounce" is such a misstep for the band. After all, this is a record where Bon Jovi seems to have consciously decided to avoid everything that gives their music character, melody, and muscle, a move that would have been odd at any point during their career, but is particularly puzzling after they delivered an album that found them growing old gracefully. It's as if they want to undo everything "Crush" did for them.
The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, making it Bon Jovi's highest debut in the band's history at that time.

The seventh full-length studio album by the legendary American Melodic Hard Rock band.
Even if it was classified as Pop-Metal, Bon Jovi never really was much of a Metal band, relying on big, catchy melodies and not guitar riffs to make their songs memorable. That's why, in 2000, they're able to make an album like "Crush", which strays far enough into Pop/Rock to actually stand a chance of getting airplay (which it did, with the hit lead single "It's My Life").
The guitar crunch on the up-tempo numbers keeps Bon Jovi from becoming a full-fledged Pop/Rock band, but in addition to the typical Hard Rockers, there are nods to Heartland Rock, Bryan Adams-style adult contemporary balladry ("Thank You for Loving Me"), the Beatles (the surprisingly effective "Say It Isn't So"), and even British Glam à la T. Rex or David Bowie ("Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars"). Occasionally, it sounds like the band is attempting to cover as many bases as possible for multi-format appeal, but for the most part, the variety - coupled with the consistently polished songcraft - makes for a surprisingly listenable album.
Commercially, "Crush" became an international success, reaching the top of the charts in multiple territories. The album was certified double Platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album helped introduce the band to a new generation of fans. "Crush" was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2001 Grammy Awards. Three singles were released from the album internationally: "It's My Life", "Say It Isn't So" and "Thank You For Loving Me", as well as a new, updated rendition of "One Wild Night" released a year later with the live album "One Wild Night Live 1985–2001". "It's My Life" became one of the band's most well-known songs, and one of their most successful singles, reaching number one in several countries and becoming the third best selling single of 2000.
"Crush" is a solidly crafted mainstream Rock record that's much better than most might expect. Even if "Crush" is more measured than Bon Jovi's early work, "Just Older" sums up the band's acceptance of their status nicely: "The skin I'm in is all right with me/It's not old, just older"!

The fifth full-length album by the legendary American Rock/Melodic Hard Rock band.
"Keep The Faith" represents the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Bon Jovi, marking a change of both the band's image and sound. Moving away from their early Glam Metal roots in previous albums, it introduced a more Rock'n'Roll driven groove to Bon Jovi's sound. The album turned away from heavy drums and wild guitar solos, but instead introduced a new sound of Bon Jovi, which consisted of piano ballads and long epic guitar solos.
It's the first Bon Jovi's album since 1985's "7800° Fahrenheit" not to be produced by Bruce Fairbairn. The album was produced by Bob Rock and was recorded at the Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, Canada. It is the last to feature original bassist Alec John Such, before his dismissal from the band in 1994.
"Keep The Faith" reintroduced Bon Jovi after almost four years of side projects and hiatuses. The musical climate had shifted considerably in that time, a fact that wasn't lost on the band. "Faith" blatantly brought to the surface the Bruce Springsteen influence that was always lurking in Bon Jovi's sound, and used it to frame "Faith"'s more serious interpretation of the band's Pop-Metal groove. "I Believe" and "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" both amped up the blue-collar, gospel revivalist feel of Springsteen's "Tunnel of Love", dropping in triumphant power chord changes to ensure arena readiness. But Bon Jovi also took a page from Springsteen's Big Book of Epic Songwriting, padding "Faith"'s center with ambitious balladry and a nearly ten-minute story-song, "Dry County", that wouldn't be out of place on a '70s Rock album. Elsewhere, the hit single "Bed of Roses" wisely aimed for the verdant adult contemporary pastures pointed to by Bryan Adams with 1991's "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You", instead of gripping stupidly to the Aqua-Netted mane of Glam Rock power balladry. Some of the album's straightforward Hard Rock songs faltered, since they didn't sizzle like the band's vintage material and fell flat next to more inspired material like "In These Arms". But while miles of open highway separated the songwriting of Jon Bon Jovi and his mates from that of Springsteen, "Keep The Faith" deserves plenty of points for ambition, and it did succeed in updating the band's sound - even if the replacement parts were bought used.
"Keep The Faith" peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200 chart while topping the charts in the UK and Australia. The album certified double-Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The record produced several hits for the band, including "Keep The Faith", "Bed of Roses" and "In These Arms".
The album was ranked No. 21 on Kerrang!'s "100 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die", and in 2006 the album featured in the Classic Rock & Metal Hammer's The "200 Greatest Albums Of The 90's"!!

Bon Jovi had perfected a formula for Hard Pop/Rock by the time of "New Jersey", concentrating on sing-along choruses sung over and over again, frequently by a rough, extensively overdubbed chorus, producing an effect not unlike what these songs sounded like in the arenas and stadiums where they were most often heard. The lyrics had that typical Pop twist - although they nominally expressed romantic commitment, sentiments such as "Lay Your Hands on Me" and "I'll Be There for You" worked equally well as a means for the band and its audience to reaffirm their affection for each other. The only thing that marred the perfection of this communion was Jon Bon Jovi's continuing obsession with a certain predecessor from his home state; at times, he seemed to be trying to re-create Born to Run using cheaper materials.
The album was the follow-up to the band's 1986 breakthrough album, "Slippery When Wet", and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in its second week of release after making its debut at No. 8. It remained at No. 1 for four consecutive weeks. It produced five Billboard Hot 100 top ten singles, the most top ten hits to date for any Hard Rock album, including "Bad Medicine" and "I'll Be There for You", which both reached No. 1. Fourth full-length live album by the legendary American Soft Metal band.
Jon Bon Jovi's presumably got all his "serious" instincts out of his system for a while. After the solo releases and film roles, it's back to Bon Jovi duty for a spell, and all the colossal preposterousness that high office entails. In honour of their impending live album, the Jovi have revisited their "Crush" record of last year, and taken further over the top the most OTT track on it. And make no mistake!
The album includes live covers of Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World" and The Boomtown Rats' "I Don't Like Mondays". "One Wild Night 2001" is a new remix version rather than a live version. The difference between this version and the original "Crush" version is the length; the intro and other sections were cut out. This was released as a single for this album and featured a music video. The new version also features on the compilation album "Tokyo Road: Best of Bon Jovi". The live version of "Wanted Dead or Alive" was also released as a single and had a promotional video produced for it, this depicted live performances of the song and some backstage footage.
If you've never heard Bon Jovi before, but only know them by what other people say, then this album would simply blow you away. It is recorded live from various concerts and is by far their heaviest album. If you hadn't heard anything they had recorded you would probably laugh at those who call them pop/rock because there's simply nothing pop about this album!
This album will not only impress Bon Jovi fans, but anyone who is just a good old fashioned Rock fan. This is a great album! An amazing album!! Well worth buying even if you're not a particularly big fan on Bon Jovi!!!

Despite the moderate success of "7800° Fahrenheit", Bon Jovi weren't becoming the superstars they had hoped, and they changed their approach for their next album, going for a more mainstream sound than their heavier first two records. "Slippery When Wet" wasn't just a breakthrough album for Bon Jovi; it was a breakthrough for Hair Metal in general, marking the point where the genre officially entered the mainstream. Released in 1986, it presented a streamlined combination of Pop, Hard Rock and Metal, that appealed to everyone - especially girls, whom traditional Heavy Metal often ignored.
Hiring professional songwriter Desmond Child as a collaborator, the band wrote 30 songs and auditioned them for local New Jersey and New York teenagers, basing the album's running order on their opinions. Much of the album's content was written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, except "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Livin' on a Prayer", "Without Love" and "I'd Die For You", which were co-written by Desmond Child.
The album went through various name changes during its inception. The main working title was "Wanted Dead Or Alive"; later the band decided to name the album "Slippery When Wet" after visiting The Number 5 Orange Stripclub in Vancouver. "Slippery When Wet" was an instant commercial success. The album features songs that are today considered Bon Jovi's most well-known tracks, such as "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Livin' on a Prayer" and "Wanted Dead or Alive".
Between 1986 and 1987, "Slippery When Wet" produced an amazing string of hit singles, including three Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hits, two of which ("You Give Love A Bad Name" and "Livin' On A Prayer") reached No. 1, making Bon Jovi the first Hard Rock band to ever have two consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 chart hits. The third single "Wanted Dead or Alive" peaked at No. 7, making "Slippery When Wet" the first Hard Rock album to spawn three Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits.
The album spent eight weeks at #1 on the Billboard album chart. It also had impressive staying power, with 38 weeks inside the Top 5 of Billboard 200, including 8 weeks at No. 1. With "These Days", Bon Jovi firmly established themselves as an adult contemporary act. They still have their fair share of Rockers, but they seem half-hearted and incomplete. Instead, the band sounds the most comfortable with love ballads and working class anthems, from hits "This Ain't a Love Song" and "Lie to Me", to the acoustic "Diamond Ring". In fact, as the years go by, Bon Jovi gets musically stronger. Not only are their best songs stronger now, their playing is more accomplished. Keeping these improvements in mind, it's no surprise that the band was one of the few Pop Metal bands to sustain a career in the mid-'90s.
This was the first album Bon Jovi released after the retirement of bassist Alec John Such. The band hired Hugh McDonald as their unofficial bassist. The album, produced by Peter Collins, Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi, was an overall darker album in contrast to the band's usual brand of feel-good, inspiring Rock songs and love ballads.
At the time of release, the album was a huge commercial hit, particularly in Europe and Japan. In Japan, the album debuted at number one on the Oricon chart with sales of 379,000, becoming the fastest selling album by a non-Japanese act in history of the country's chart. In the UK, "These Days" replaced Michael Jackson's album "HIStory" at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spent four consecutive weeks at #1. The album spawned four Top 10 singles on the UK Singles Chart, the band's highest number of Top 10 singles from one album in UK. The album also topped Billboard European Albums Chart for seven weeks. The high sales of the album in Europe warranted a re-issue of the album under the name of "These Days Special Edition" a year after its original release. The album was ranked number two on Q magazine's list of the "Top 50 albums of 1995". In 2006, the album featured in the Classic Rock & Metal Hammer's The "200 Greatest Albums Of The 90's". In the U.S., despite selling 1000000 copies and certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the album wasn't as successful as it was overseas and the album peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200.

“Young Guns II” is a 1990 western film and the sequel to “Young Guns” (1988). It stars Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christian Slater, and features William Petersen as Pat Garrett. Jon Bon Jovi also made a cameo appearance in the film as one of the prisoners in the pit with Doc and Chavez.
This CD includes songs from and inspired by the movie “Young Guns II”. Emilio Estevez originally approached Bon Jovi to ask him for permission to include the song "Wanted Dead Or Alive" on the soundtrack. Bon Jovi did not feel the song’s lyrics were appropriate; however, he was inspired by the project and resolved to write a new song for the film that would be more in keeping with the period and setting. He quickly wrote the song "Blaze of Glory", and performed it on acoustic guitar in the New Mexico desert for Estevez and John Fusco. This was the first time that "Blaze of Glory" was heard.
Music videos were made for the first two singles, "Blaze of Glory" and "Miracle", and also the fourth (promo) single "Dyin' Ain't Much of a Livin", but not for the third single "Never Say Die".
The album featured guests such as Elton John, Little Richard, and Jeff Beck.
The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. “Blaze of Glory” was awarded a Golden Globe. It also received Academy Award and Grammy nominations.

Bon Jovi's sophomore release found the New Jersey band continuing with its engaging mix of Hard Rock dynamics and blatant Pop-Metal overtones, and primed the pump for the coming popular explosion of "Slippery When Wet". Ever since the keyboard call to arms of the breakthrough "Runaway", Bon Jovi had understood that real success lay in a billowing smoke, soft-focus derivation of true Metal, where Journey-style synthesizers and Soft Rock chorus vocals were the name of the game. But they seemed much more comfortable with the twittering ballad "Silent Night" or "Price of Love," where arena-ready riffing met smoke machine keys and vocal trills. There was even "Tokyo Road", a valiant attempt at the epic scope of Springsteen that featured a Japanese-language intro and full-on character development. It was in these moments - when the tenets of Metal tried on the hairstyles of Pop - that "7800° Fahrenheit" burned its brightest; the professional songwriting and increased cash flow of "Slippery When Wet" just made the existing mercury burst.
The album's title was a reference to the supposed melting point of rock. It's marked the final collaboration between Bon Jovi and producer Lance Quinn. It is also the only Bon Jovi album to feature songwriting contributions from four of the band members, with "Secret Dreams" being the only Bon Jovi song to-date for which drummer Tico Torres receives a songwriting credit. Despite being a fan favorite, the band was unsatisfied with the sound of the album and essentially disowned it once they had solidified their status as Major Rock Stars with the albums "Slippery When Wet" and "New Jersey" a few years later. It is the least represented album in their setlists over the course of the career and excluding extremely rare performances of the song "Tokyo Road" in Japan once every few years and "Only Lonely" a few times during The Circle Tour in 2010, nothing from this album has been performed live since the late 1980s.
"7800° Fahrenheit" reached #37 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was the band's first record to be certified Gold in the US. It remained charted for 85 weeks and was certified Platinum on February 19, 1987. The singles "In and Out of Love" and "Only Lonely" both charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

Bon Jovi had perfected a formula for Hard Pop/Rock by the time of "New Jersey", concentrating on sing-along choruses sung over and over again, frequently by a rough, extensively overdubbed chorus, producing an effect not unlike what these songs sounded like in the arenas and stadiums where they were most often heard. The lyrics had that typical Pop twist - although they nominally expressed romantic commitment, sentiments such as "Lay Your Hands on Me" and "I'll Be There for You" worked equally well as a means for the band and its audience to reaffirm their affection for each other. Debut full-length solo album by the leader and vocalist of legendary American Soft Metal band Bon Jovi.
“Young Guns II” is a 1990 western film and the sequel to “Young Guns” (1988). It stars Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christian Slater, and features William Petersen as Pat Garrett. Jon Bon Jovi also made a cameo appearance in the film as one of the prisoners in the pit with Doc and Chavez.
This CD includes songs from and inspired by the movie “Young Guns II”. Emilio Estevez originally approached Bon Jovi to ask him for permission to include the song "Wanted Dead Or Alive" on the soundtrack. Bon Jovi did not feel the song’s lyrics were appropriate; however, he was inspired by the project and resolved to write a new song for the film that would be more in keeping with the period and setting. He quickly wrote the song "Blaze of Glory", and performed it on acoustic guitar in the New Mexico desert for Estevez and John Fusco. This was the first time that "Blaze of Glory" was heard.
Music videos were made for the first two singles, "Blaze of Glory" and "Miracle", and also the fourth (promo) single "Dyin' Ain't Much of a Livin", but not for the third single "Never Say Die".
The album featured guests such as Elton John, Little Richard, and Jeff Beck.
The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. “Blaze of Glory” was awarded a Golden Globe. It also received Academy Award and Grammy nominations.

The album features music from the film "Destination Anywhere", released in the same year. It follows his successful 1990 soundtrack "Blaze Of Glory", from the film "Young Guns II". Film starring by Jon Bon Jovi and Demi Moore as a young couple struggling with alcoholism and the death of their young child. It debuted on both MTV and VH1 in 1997 and also stars Kevin Bacon, Whoopi Goldberg, and Annabella Sciorra. It was released on DVD in 2005 and contains the film, the EPK for the album, and five promotional videos for the Singles of the album. The track "It's Just Me" also features in full during the film.
The production and style for "Destination Anywhere" departs from the Hard Rock sound of his albums with Bon Jovi band, such as featuring drum loops, female backing vocals and Jon Bon Jovi himself singing in a lower register in most of the tracks.
Only one of his long-time bandmates, keyboardist David Bryan, contributed to the album; though Desmond Child, cowriter of hits such as "Livin' on a Prayer", plays the tuba in the song "Ugly" and is also one of the producers.
The first Single of album, "Midnight in Chelsea", was Bon Jovi's highest-charting solo Single in the UK, reaching number four on the UK Singles Chart. Also charting in the UK was the second Single, "Queen of New Orleans", at number 10, and the third Single, "Janie, Don't Take Your Love to Town", at number 13. The fourth Single, "Ugly", charted in some European countries, but not in the UK. "Staring at Your Window with a Suitcase in My Hand" was released as a Promo-Single.

The first international compilation album by legendary American Soft Metal/Hard Rock band.
The second "Greatest Hits" album of the band and the first one released worldwide. It contains hits from all previously released albums - from their debut, "Bon Jovi" (1984) to "Keep The Faith" (1992). The album also features two new tracks: the Hit Singles "Always" and "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night". Some North American versions of release also features a new, updated rendition of "Livin' on a Prayer" entitled "Prayer '94", but any American release not includes “Never Say Goodbye”, as other countries versions.
The album's first Single, "Always", went top five in many countries. It spent six months in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 and became Bon Jovi's biggest selling Single in the United States. Its international success helped the album to peak at number one in 13 countries and made it Polygram Records' best-selling album of 1994.
"Cross Road" is Bon Jovi's best-selling album in many countries, and continues to sell well. It has sold over 21.5 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time.
In the United States, the album debuted and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200 the week of November 5, 1994 with 84,000 copies sold, the next week it dropped to number 13 and remained on the chart for fifty-seven weeks. It was certified four times Platinum by the RIAA on October 15, 1998 denoting shipments of four millions. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album has sold 4,951,000 copies in the US as of September 2011, including 324,000 copies sold in 2006.
In the United Kingdom, “Cross Road” debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spent a total of five non-consecutive weeks atop the chart, later becoming the best-selling album of 1994. The album was certified six times Platinum by the BPI. The album topped the charts in several other European countries, including Austria, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland. In 2007, it was also certified octuple platinum by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry for selling 8 million copies across Europe.
The album became Bon Jovi's first number-one set in Japan, where it has sold more than 1.1 million copies. It spent two weeks at number one in Australia, and in 2022 it was certified thirteen-times Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association for shipments exceeding 910,000 copies. The album also debuted at number three on the New Zealand Albums Chart, peaking at number one in its second week and later being certified septuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand.

For the first time on vinyl, remastered release of the eighth full-length studio album by legendary American Melodic Hard Rock band.
“Bounce” was heavily influenced by the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, owing in part to Jon Bon Jovi's proximity to New York. The title "Bounce" was a reference to New York City's and the United States' ability to bounce back from the World Trade Center attacks as a nation.
Given that Bon Jovi successfully pulled off a comeback in 2000 with "Crush", a shiny Pop album pitched directly at the mainstream, it's kind of a surprise that they returned two years later with a record as turgid as "Bounce". Instead of continuing the colourful blueprint of "Crush", they fearlessly backpedal, turning out dull, heavy, serious rock - the kind of music that sounds "serious" even when it's about trivial things. Of course, much of the record is given over to "serious" topics, as if the band felt that the events of 2001 necessitated a grave response for "Bounce", regardless of what they were singing. Such sobriety would not have been a problem if the band had solid material, but they're not only lacking songs, they've inexplicably altered their musical approach. In particular, guitarist Richie Sambora sounds as if he's aping James Hetfield's lumbering downstrokes throughout the album, giving the record an oppressively heavy sound that never lets the music breathe. This casts a pall over the record, but this stumble is not the sole reason "Bounce" is such a misstep for the band. After all, this is a record where Bon Jovi seems to have consciously decided to avoid everything that gives their music character, melody, and muscle, a move that would have been odd at any point during their career, but is particularly puzzling after they delivered an album that found them growing old gracefully. It's as if they want to undo everything "Crush" did for them.
The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, making it Bon Jovi's highest debut in the band's history at that time.

First re-release of the fourth full-length studio album by legendary American Hard Rock/Soft Metal band.
Bon Jovi had perfected a formula for Hard Pop/Rock by the time of "New Jersey", concentrating on sing-along choruses sung over and over again, frequently by a rough, extensively overdubbed chorus, producing an effect not unlike what these songs sounded like in the arenas and stadiums where they were most often heard. The lyrics had that typical Pop twist - although they nominally expressed romantic commitment, sentiments such as "Lay Your Hands on Me" and "I'll Be There for You" worked equally well as a means for the band and its audience to reaffirm their affection for each other. The only thing that marred the perfection of this communion was Jon Bon Jovi's continuing obsession with a certain predecessor from his home state; at times, he seemed to be trying to re-create Born to Run using cheaper materials.
The album was the follow-up to the band's 1986 breakthrough album, "Slippery When Wet", and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in its second week of release after making its debut at No. 8. It remained at No. 1 for four consecutive weeks. It produced five Billboard Hot 100 top ten singles, the most top ten hits to date for any Hard Rock album, including "Bad Medicine" and "I'll Be There for You", which both reached No. 1. The album was certified seven times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album also debuted at No. 1 in UK and was the band's first UK No. 1 album.

The third full-length studio album by legendary American Hard Rock/Soft Metal band.
Despite the moderate success of "7800° Fahrenheit", Bon Jovi weren't becoming the superstars they had hoped, and they changed their approach for their next album, going for a more mainstream sound than their heavier first two records. "Slippery When Wet" wasn't just a breakthrough album for Bon Jovi; it was a breakthrough for Hair Metal in general, marking the point where the genre officially entered the mainstream. Released in 1986, it presented a streamlined combination of Pop, Hard Rock and Metal, that appealed to everyone - especially girls, whom traditional Heavy Metal often ignored.
Hiring professional songwriter Desmond Child as a collaborator, the band wrote 30 songs and auditioned them for local New Jersey and New York teenagers, basing the album's running order on their opinions. Much of the album's content was written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, except "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Livin' on a Prayer", "Without Love" and "I'd Die For You", which were co-written by Desmond Child.
The album went through various name changes during its inception. The main working title was "Wanted Dead Or Alive"; later the band decided to name the album "Slippery When Wet" after visiting The Number 5 Orange Stripclub in Vancouver. "Slippery When Wet" was an instant commercial success. The album features songs that are today considered Bon Jovi's most well-known tracks, such as "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Livin' on a Prayer" and "Wanted Dead or Alive".
Between 1986 and 1987, "Slippery When Wet" produced an amazing string of hit singles, including three Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hits, two of which ("You Give Love A Bad Name" and "Livin' On A Prayer") reached No. 1, making Bon Jovi the first Hard Rock band to ever have two consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 chart hits. The third single "Wanted Dead or Alive" peaked at No. 7, making "Slippery When Wet" the first Hard Rock album to spawn three Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits.
The album spent eight weeks at #1 on the Billboard album chart. It also had impressive staying power, with 38 weeks inside the Top 5 of Billboard 200, including 8 weeks at No. 1. "Slippery When Wet" was the best-selling album of 1987 in the United States, and eventually reached Diamond certification by the RIAA and current sales stand at 12 million copies, making it the 48th best-selling album in the United States. In the UK, "Slippery When Wet" received a 3x Platinum certification by the BPI. The album also achieved Diamond status in Canada and 6x Platinum status in Australia. It was ranked 44th in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of the Definitive 200 albums of all time. As of 2014, "Slippery When Wet" is the band's best-selling album to date, with an RIAA certification of twelve times Platinum, and reportedly over 25 million copies sold worldwide. First re-release of the debut full-length studio album by legendary American Hard Rock/Soft Metal band.
From the opening track, "Runaway", which rode to glory on E Street Band-mate Roy Bittan's distinctive keyboard riff, to the sweaty arena rock of "Get Ready", which closed the album, Bon Jovi's debut is an often-overlooked minor gem from the early days of Hair Metal. The songs may be simple and the writing prone to all clichés of the form, but the album boasts a pretty consistent Hard Rock attack, passionate playing and a keen sense of melody. The prominence that keyboardist David Bryan (credited as David Rashbaum in the liner notes) gets on this record is an indicator, perhaps, that Bon Jovi had more than a passing interest in the Pop market, which was then dominated by new wave and Synth Pop. Mixing Journey-like '70s Rock ("She Don't Know Me") with shout-along stadium anthems ("Love Lies"), the self-titled Bon Jovi album lay the foundation for the band's career, which reached its apex several years later with that very same combination of Pop melody and arena-sized ambition.
Originally titled "Tough Talk", album was renamed after the record company decided it was wiser to issue the album as a self-titled release. Most of the songs are written by Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan and Sambora. "Burning for Love" and "Come Back" were the very first songs written for the album. Produced by Tony Bongiovi and Lance Quinn, it is significant for being the only Bon Jovi album on which a song ("She Don't Know Me") appears that was not written nor co-written by members of the band.
Aside from hit single "Runaway", songs from the album were rarely performed live after the band released their breakthrough album "Slippery When Wet" in 1986. However, on the band's 2010 Circle Tour, songs including "Roulette", "Shot Through The Heart" and "Get Ready" were performed.
Three singles from the album were released: "Runaway", "She Don't Know Me" and in Japan only, "Burning for Love".
The album was ranked the 11th best Rock album of 1984 by Kerrang! Magazine. The album charted at #43 on The Billboard 200.
